I am not sure if anyone in the G35 forum has twin turbod their car. I know that the Moderator of the 350Z forum "Turbo6" has put twins on his, and IIRC, he's putting out well over 450HP. He also built his entire engine, to accommodate the extra power. He is most well known for his 9.38 second @ 147 MPH Lexus SC300. Check it out at http://www.turbo6.netThis was copied from an article speaking of "Turbo6" aka, Hal. "Hal is now working for Injected Performance out of Lexington, KY (one of our sponsors), he is in charge of building and tuning their race cars. Most recently, they put down over 1000rwhp through an automatic on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno on their 4.2L VQ stroker, GT47-88 powered 350Z. He also owns a twin turbo 350Z that is his own personal car in addition to the SC300."

I think Beancooker is right there isnt anyone here with the TT setup. I just installed the Turnonetics single. Unfortunately it preignited and threw a rod through the block. Was making around 380 whp at 4200 rpm thats without a proper tune. So now i will be building the motor up. I plan on doing the stage 3 long block in the next month or two. should be able to run a few more pounds of boost and drag about 450 whp out of it. The dyno will tell:fingersx Good luck CP Pistons .020 over Pauter Rods ARP Rod Bolts Block inspected and cleaned Block redecked Block Bored and Honed using a Torque Plate Rotating assembly balanced to 50% Crank magnafluxed and the journals micro-polished New Moly coated Race Spec main bearings installed New Moly coated Race Spec rod bearings installed Block assembled New OEM Head Gaskets Heads inspected and cleaned Heads redecked Ported exhaust and intake runners JWT S1, S2, C2, or "S7 RevUp" Upgraded Cams JWT Heavy Duty Valve Springs 5 angle radius cut valve job New OEM Valve stem seals installed Valve Stem Heights set Cold Clearance set for stock cams Heads assembled New OEM Rev-up Oil Pump

^ DOH!!! that's the first I've heard you threw a rod dude! That really, sux, sorry to hear that. Oh well, at least now you can build it up and have more faith in the block to take the abuse, plus it'll have more longevity....not to mention bigger HP #'s I bet you'll have a nice write up when you're all done. Good luck with it man!.....oh btw, your going with an OEM Head Gasket? Ya might wanna upgrade that while you've got it apart. Probably around 140ish for both of em. Here's a site...just to give you an idea http://www.importperformancepa....html but you can get em alot of places.

Yeah blew it up a month ago or so. I was on my way to get some connectors to hook up my MAP sensor so my ECU would do a better job of adjusting timeing and such. I was doing about 130mph down the HWY and was just squeezing into it at about 5000rpm i could here a strange noise that i was trying to figure out what it was. Turns our we call that pre ignition and the next thing i knew it was POOF. Ive never seen so much smoke blow out the back of a car before. It was quite impressive. Anywho it now sits up on jackstands in my garage for now. Im back working in Saudi right now so i can afford to fix it when i get home. It will be fun to build up a better motor for it. The thing was scary to drive before wait till im done with it.

Again....Good Luck with the build when you get back! I'll probably ST or SC mine when I get back too. I'll learn from all your mistakes haha j/k

Hey im great at making mistakes and i only hope others can learn from them. Ill be happy to offer any kind of advice to others wanting to go FI. I learned alot along the way on this little project. It was fun to install myself but it took WAY longer than the directions said. It would probably still be in one piece if i had had the time to get it tuned professionaly before i left and i just continued to push it. PLAY PLAY BREAK!

Powers don't mean anything if you're hitting 13's on the 1/4 with a TT kit, and over 20k invested. If I were to build a track car, it would most def. not be a G35. Maybe a 350z or a Supra.. The G is just way too heavy. The best I've seen a G do is low 12's.. With the same mods, the 350z can kit mid 11's...

But 350zs are more common, and more commonly modified. Most g35s are owned by older people. Most really aren't concerned with turbos and superchargers. So when you have a supped up g35 you seem more of a rarity, more special. Hell i have a sedan, most people think my car is a joke untill i **** on them. And i don't have half the upgrades some of these people have.

Thanks,I was debatting whether its worth it to invest the money to run 12s. I will be starting a c5 corvette project soon, and it will be more beneficial to dump the money into that. If I could run 10s with a tt kit and a built motor, then I think it would be worth it. But I agree 20 k for 12 s is a waste.

I'd like to see what a G35X TT with a rebuilt tranny would run.Not sure if the AWD system could handle that much power though.

The G will never run with a Vette...but the Vette is a sled on wheels for 2 people. Not very practical. If you want to run cheap 11's, find a late model F-Body and boost it

That video took place in 06 when the car weighed 3,350 and was on 17psi and making around 500rwhp. Since then I have removed 300 pounds and a whole bunch of upgrades and it's now making 570rwhp at 17.8psi with the good to now I've been able to run 21psi and let me tell you breaking the tires loose at 70 mile-per-hour is fun. I updated the build thread a little and there will be more to come building a new engine a little different than everyone else.

Notice @ launch, the car was just slightly ahead for a split second? IF you had some drag radials with upgraded axels you could probably launch a wheely off your rear tires... You are my G35 God. 11.6 is really impressive, no, really... Yes the Cogsworth will rev to 10K... or higher?? Anyway, Just to let you know, I played around in Gran Turismo and the best time I could get out of my "G35 " in the game was 9.3 @ 150mph. lol You're doing really well on street tires, believe me Best I got was 14.4 @ 98mph... lol Natural Aspiration... for now Wanna strip all the weight out like you, and get a full cage and seats etc... You're still inpiring me Mike

Mike:How is your car able to handle such a high level of boost? is the engine fully rebuilt? Are you using solid aftermarket clutch systems? How was your car tuned? All I could do after watching your video was wonder in amazement. Is the car in the video really a G-35 Coupe?
